Bike Repair App Reviews

Look up just about any online repair guide and compare it to what’s in the app - you’ll find that the app’s guides gloss over important steps, use the same photos for several steps, etc.. In short, the guides were rushed and not done as thoroughly as they need to be to be actually useful. They’re on par with what you’d find on Yahoo Answers, at least compared to the average instructables guide.

The app crashes at the beginning, I cant even start to use it!

Although Ive been riding since I was 5, only recently decided I have to learn to take care of my bike myself and not rely solely on my husband to keep my bike in shape. This app is a great tool for quick trouble-shooting on the road and also provides really useful tips for better form and trouble-shooting pains caused by bad form. Thank you!

I got this app a long time ago, and had not used it. I needed it today, and there it was on my phone. It is awesome. Easy navigation so that I could easily diagnose the problem, and then to fix it there were clear instructions and photographs. Excellent App!

Good program, but could be awesome if you added recumbent Bikes and Trikes many uses the same parts and then the app would include the whole bike market.

Sort of a hub for everything cycling. Get it? Hub? Hmm

This is a good quality app that allows me to add my bike parts as well as view useful maintenance guides as I repair my bike.

For fixing my bike there is no other app that works better then this.

Since I have seven bikes, always in various stages of repair, this is a great tool to keep track of parts and maintenance. However, I stopped using it because I could not get it to sync via the cloud across devices. Though I intend on updating the records on my phone, since that is the most portable and useful device of mine for this application, repeating the info in my iPad is rather tedious so I may not bother. Its unfortunate because I prefer using that visually when I am home. I see no recent reviews of this app here, which kind of makes me feel like the developers are not updating this and may have abandoned the project. This is a shame, its truly a helpful tool and has a lot of potential.

The app has potential, but its useless at present. If you enter your equipment it will delete it or may revert back to old data. For example if you buy new wheels and enter it, in a day or so when u come back your old wheels will be there. If you set up the mileage for your bike for tune-ups etc the mileage will disappear. In addition everytime it goes through an update your info is totally deleted. Its a waste of money.

I get to the point.. It could be much better focused. Not enough depth. Im not so concerned as what to wear in the cold or links to online cycling mags. These seem like filler. I want more in depth of what the title says, Bicycle Repair. Yes a journal for ones bicycles is useful and the app looks nice but I need to rebuild my bottom bracket and nothing about that or many other subjects here. I guess Im expecting a Park Tool guide but honestly the title should be called something different sorry.

This app has some useful features but dont count on it hanging on to anything you enter. Ever. Time and time again this developer has shown that they are willing to destroy existing user data for essentially no reason. Furthermore, the devs are completely unresponsive and disinterested in fixing any problems. The problem is that without the bike tracking features theres not really much here. Its just a bunch of scattered and not very useful bits and pieces.

Nice instructive diagrams. This app has what I need when I need it in an easy-to-navigate format on my phone. Thank you!
